Now, in case circumstances don’t unfold as planned, you might wonder: can you extend the validity of your theory? Regrettably, the answer is no; you cannot prolong the validity to extend its duration. However, you are permitted to retake the theory exam starting three months before your current result expires. For instance, if your theory exam outcome expires on May 1st, you can retake the test from February 1st. 

To summarize, keep an eye on your theory’s expiration date and prevent the need to retake the exam route.
